Engine: Yamaha f60 2003 Shopping experience: So far so good. Oem parts , reasonably priced and fast shipping. Just got my lower unit(prop shaft) bearing and seals a day early 😎which was great! Ordered a new Yamaha dual thrust prop (great price) which lead to needing the other parts. (🤬- - fishing line destroyed seals) all arrived quickly and great shape. Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: 2 to 4 hours Repair symptoms: Prop shaft seals destroyed by fishing line Pulled bearing housing. Replaced seals and bearing. Inspected gears shaft etc. for wear. Replaced housing, prop filled with gear lube. If you are going do this job, order the 3 sealing o rings for the housing. If you don’t need them you have a spare set. Luckily my housing came out without destroying them.
