Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: leaking exhaust riser, and remove and replace broken anode rod in heat exchanger. Removed old exhaust riser gasket and cleaned exhaust riser gasket surfaces. Then utilized hi temp silicone and installed new riser gasket. Opened cap end of heat exchanger and removed broken anode rod. Then reinstalled new anode rod and new cap gasket for heat exchanger. Connected water for engine cooling and ran to check for leaks.
