Engine: Yamaha 40tlrw Shopping experience: Easy to gind the right parts from exploded diagrams. Fast shipping. Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: Sneeze and chirp and stall at idle. Lower crankshaft seal - since it required pulling the powerhead did a complete gasket/seal overhaul of engine. Idles perfect now. Also, found gravel stuck in port to pisser - that’s working great now too.
Engine: Replaced the top engine mount and bottom crank shaft seals on a Yamaha 50 Shopping experience: Excellent, the order was correct, prompt and well priced. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 2 to 4 hours Repair symptoms: Engine moving forward on the mounting bracket. Dismantled the power head off the trunk and made the repair.
