Engine: Yamaha 2 stroke 40hp 1989 Shopping experience: Was ideal. Quick and efficient. Items ordered were with me in the UK within a week. My UK supplier was a 3 week wait. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: No idle, run ruff. Oil in the intake cover Was part of a major service and fault finding. Engine purchased as non runner. Carb clean, reed petals replaced, fuel lines found with minor splits. Reed valve block rubber perished.
