Shopping experience: I was bamboozled with the classic overpromise and underdeliver. Shipping was supposed to be 3-5 days after order. It was a few phone calls and several weeks before I got my order - and that was after I had to cancel items on two separate occasions just to get what was in stock shipped to me. I was told they are understaffed at their Wisconsin warehouse and are having problems getting parts from Japan. Everyone understands there are labor and supply chain issues everywhere. But transparency regarding delays would have been nice. I wouldn't have promised someone their outboard back in a week or so only to have it sit in my shop for several weeks waiting on a carb kit and standard fuel pump parts. Shopping experience: I have had problems with my carburetor for many months. I tried cleaning it several times and it just never worked very well. So I ask Crowley if they had a carb rebuild kit for my outboard and they did. I ordered the kit and all the gaskets in the fuel pump (it's a 2 cycle outboard) and installed them. The motor started up on the 2nd pull. It ran for an hour while I tested it out on our lake. I am so happy I bought a rebuild kit instead of a new outboard.
