Engine: Yamaha HPDI 225 Shopping experience: This place is GREAT Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins Repair symptoms: Premix oil would not pump from the tank on the boat I used my test light and a ground wire to test the old oil pump and found out it was bad.
Shopping experience: Not the best experience. Website said all items in stock and ship immediately, but order sat for a month due to B/O. That could have been ok with Covid messing supply lines up if communication had been more consistent. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins
Engine: Yamaha 200 VX Shopping experience: Very poor shipping. If I lived out west I would choose to shop with Crowley. But the East is not a place they like to ship to. Over 6 weeks from ordering to receiving. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins Repair symptoms: Remote Oil Pump failure Pulled remote tank out. Empty oil from tank. disconnect hoses. Pulled pump out of side of tank. Re-inserted new pump, connected hoses, replaced tank in boat, and refilled with oil.
