Engine: 1988 Yamaha 90hp 2 stroke Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: 1 to 2 hours Repair symptoms: Throttle linkage was sticking when in WOT. The 2-cycle oil tank has rubber dampers with bolts to hold it in place under the cowling. the lower damper had been damaged and failed letting the tank move about 1/8" which allowed it to be in contact with the carburetor linkage when in WOT and it would not release. the repair was super easy but figuring out why the throttle was sticking and only in WOT took a little time. I am not a mechanic so I was pretty psyched when I figured this out and it no longer sticks.

Shopping experience: One part on one of my two separate orders was b/o'd. When it came in it was sent to someone else who had ordered a part, I received their part. Was told by rep when I called Crowley that my part would be in warehouse reserved for me. Next notice from Crowley stated the part was on b/o again, waiting for the manufacturer. Never any response from Crowley as what to do with the part I received. Terrible customer service. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins
