Engine: Yamaha 4HP 4-Stroke Shopping experience: Great, fast shipping with good quality OEM parts. Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: Less than 30 mins Repair symptoms: Water constantly flowing out of coolant output tube I removed the engine cover. Then found the thermostat housing on the side and removed the 3 10mm hex bolts. Next I used a dead blow to break the housing seal and PPP the cover off. Then I was able to remove the thermostat and found it was stuck open. While I was there I also replaced the anode which is on the housing with a Phillips head screw. I replaced the gasket and inserted the new thermostat into the housing and reinstalled the thermostat housing.
