Engine: Yamaha 9.9 Shopping experience: Excellent website and a great company to work with! Repair difficulty: Easy Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: Motor over heating. I purchased outboard, boat and trailer for $1.00. All water cooling passages in motor were clogged with salt. Piston rings were melted into aluminum pistons from over heating. Block, pistons and cylinder head were not salvageable. Still waiting on a few parts. Should have a good little outboard for about $600.00.
