Engine: Suzuki 40 HP Shopping experience: Very caring and considerate! Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: 30 to 60 mins Repair symptoms: Lower unit disintegrated Removed lower unit to locate problem, looked on internet to find another unit, found unit at Crowley. I ordered unit and after cleaning out the threads, We raised up your unit bolted up and connected shift rod on same and tightened. Filled gear case with fresh gear oil and adjusted shift cables, my son then set boat back into lake started motor and took same for a cruise, and the rest is history.
