Repair difficulty: Hard Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: Low Compression, Not pumping Water Still not completely finished with the project, but thus far have tore down to the crankshaft, ball honed cylinders and put back together with old pistons/rings since part is obsolete, replaced all seals and gaskets that were available, and have a water pump impeller housing on the way, since I still was unable to get water flow through the engine with new water pump assembly and all ports/passages are clean. Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: Hasn't ran in 10 years I acquired this motor from a friend that has not been run in about 10 years. Crowley Marine had all the parts I needed to go through the carbs, fuel pump, filters , oil pump, oil and fuel lines. All factory parts. After going through it, it runs like a top and I'm not an outboard mechanic. I would recommend Crowley Marine if you need parts.

From Ontario, Canada Thank you, Sincerely, Alain Repair difficulty: Medium Repair time: More than 4 hours Repair symptoms: No water from tail tail so water pump All I wanted to do was: Replace the water pump impeller and housing witch is is made from cheap shitty Japanese plastic and some metal thin parts that need assembly and I also wanted to replace the thermostat witch ended up needing to replace the head gasket because when I tried to separate the thermostat the head come off as well but thanks to Crowley I was able to get all the parts to get the job done myself and saved a bunch of money from my local thieves boat mechanics I have been on the water 7-8 times since the repairs everything is working as it should.
