Italy-made impeller with a brass/bronze hub insert and clear mold date markings, suggesting traceable production. The molding parting seam is more pronounced than OEM and the hub construction differs from Yamaha’s, but overall it appears like a high-quality, well-engineered replacement.

China-made impeller that closely matches the OEM’s overall geometry and hub/keyway layout, including similar raised face patterns. Fit is likely acceptable, but variability in rubber compound and finish refinement makes it a lower-confidence choice than OEM for preventing cooling-system failure.

Taiwan-made impeller with a metal hub insert, but the molding shows visible flash/rough parting lines and the packaging/label quality control appears inconsistent. It should function as a replacement, but the finish and likely rubber compound consistency are not at OEM level for a critical cooling component.

Basic 6-vane molded rubber impeller with the expected keyed center bore and typical mold lines/ejector marks. It appears dimensionally compatible, but there are no strong indicators of rubber compound quality or long-term durability compared with the OEM Japan-made part.

Taiwan-made neoprene impeller with noticeably different blade reinforcement ribs and hub-face pocketing compared with OEM, indicating different tooling and flex characteristics. It should be interchangeable, but the material formulation and compression-set resistance are the main unknowns versus the Yamaha part.

Repeat after me. I will never order Yamaha boat motor parts of Amazon or eBay again.
I got what I wanted to replace my impeller and it was the exact fit unlike what I ordered on Amazon. Great oem products and good shipping…
Pissing water now like a race horse
DIY repair on a new to me 1993 25 hp, easy peasy…

Nothing to brag about… Placed order early Aug didn’t receive until Late Nov.
Back order was handled poorly. Backordered parts never received. Held order until I finally said just ship what you have & cancel the rest.
I had to repeatedly email to get statuses. May or may not use again.

I am very pleased with the parts and the ability to get the diagram to choose the exact part.
