Shopping experience: The website is an excellent place to shop for the parts you need but the purchasing, customer support, and delivery are problematic. Don't believe the "ships immediately" designation on parts listed on their website. I ordered a part marked with that designation and did not receive a notice the part had shipped. I had to call customer service the next afternoon to find out what happened. I was told there was a warehouse problem but it was clear someone or some application failed to place the order. I paid for expedited shipping because my boat was down until I could get the part installed but the delivery was several days late. No explanation other than "delayed in transit." No help from customer service for getting a refund for not delivering the part on time as scheduled after it finally shipped. I really wished Crowley Marine lived up to the expectations they set when using their website. My experience shows it is all marketing hype without the integrity to stand behind their statements.
